About LOSTfix
Once upon a time, there was a guy who started watching Lost halfway through the first season, because someone told him it was cool show … and this guy got hooked.
He’s never looked back since then. He cried in his sleep until he bought the first season on DVD so that he could watch the first half of the season. He’s watched those DVDs so much that he is surprised that they have not broken. Once the second season started, he became obsessed again, dreaming about the Losties in his sleep. In November, he got the idea to start a website where Lost fans could read summaries and analysis of all the episodes. He began working on a web design.
The web design was horrible, so he scrapped it and started over. It was at this time that the name “LOSTfix” was adopted. After working on the new design for a month, he also scrapped that one. He took a break from trying to make a web site until April, when he started another. This one was (in his opinion) good, and he was trying to find a place to host it when he realized that his website was very similar to a large blog with a lot of sections.
Then he thought, “Why not just use WordPress?” So he did. And in late June, he actually made the blog, and began filling it up. And that’s where we are now.
LOSTfix is made up of several sections:
- The Blog: general thoughts about Lost, Lost news, and also announcements on additions to other parts of the site.
- Episode Summaries & Key Points: includes in-depth summaries and key points on Lost episodes, as well as summary and analysis on the seasons as a whole.
- Upcoming Episodes: I collect spoilers and names of new episodes on this page (which is a child page of Episode Analysis & Summaries).
