3.06 “I Do”

November 8, 2006

The mini-season finale is coming up…Supposedly “the best episode of LOST ever” (says Damon & Carlton). I’m stoked. The official synopsis.

Jack makes a decision regarding Ben’s offer, Kate feels helpless when it looks like an angry Pickett is going to make good on his threat to kill Sawyer, and Locke discovers a hidden message that may guide him through the next steps of his journey to unlocking the secrets of the island.

Reactions coming after the episode. I know I’m a bit (more than a bit) behind on a lot of the stuff on this site, but don’t let that turn you away (please). During the hiatus I will update a lot and get a lot done. I’ve been very busy lately. Really. I promise I’ll get it done.

Critics – I don’t care what you say, this what a pretty darn good episode. It was pretty hardcore/intense. I loved it. And I know that there are people out there who won’t like it, and think that LOST has jumped the shark, and won’t watch anymore, and will badmouth LOST as much as they can. Well… to be blunt… if that’s you, go die in a corner.

3.05 “The Cost of Living”

November 1, 2006

Whoo! Tonight, the Cost of Living airs at 9 PM ET on ABC! Ya! And, once again, the Reactions will be up after the episode. I’m running a bit behind on last week’s Summary, but I’ll catch up and have all of the stuff caught up in a couple days. I’ve been really busy lately. Sorry about that. The official synopsis from ABC:

A delirious Eko wrestles with past demons; some of the castaways go to the Pearl station to find a computer they can use to locate Jack, Kate and Sawyer; Jack does not know who to trust when two of the Others are at odds with each other.

Alright. Get ready for this episode! Find the reactions below…

Tonight, episode 3.04 “Every Man For Himself” airs at 9 PM EST on ABC (of course). Remember that my Summary, Key Points, and Observations will be available within the next couple days. Here’s the official synopsis from ABC:

Possible Spoiler Warning

You might find my reactions a bit spoiler-ly if you haven’t seen the episode yet.

Can anyone say “Really good episode?” Because I can. I enjoyed every minute of this episode. Every second, in fact. The Sawyer flashback was not the best that we’ve had, but it certainly gave us some very large tidbits about Sawyer’s life…

3.03 “Further Instructions”

October 18, 2006

Tonight episode 3.03, called “Further Instruction” airs a 9:00 PM EST. After you watch the episode, remember that I will have the Summary come up in the next few days.

Synopsis

“The fates of Locke, Eko and Desmond are revealed after the implosion of the hatch.”

Not very specific, but we’ll go with that.

Well, I think that I agree with most people when I say that the island-based part of this episode was slightly disappointing. The flashback, however, I loved. This adds a whole new dimension onto Locke’s character and makes me think of him in a whole new way.

3.02 “The Glass Ballerina”

October 12, 2006

“The Glass Ballerina” aired last night. Boy was it a good episode. I’ll have the Summary done in the next couple days (I’m finding that it takes a while to write something as in-depth as the Summary takes some time). I’ll try to get them done as soon as I can every week, but it takes time. I think I watch the episode at least four times on the internet after it airs on TV. It’s really tougher than it looks, especially with school.

This is a great episode. I used to hate Sun and Jin flashbacks back when they didn’t get along on the island, but now I love them because I get to see the contrast between their relationship before the crash and the relationship now. I see how their relationship has progressed.

After the first five minutes, nothing exceptionally shocking happened, so many may feel that this was a sub-par season premier, but I felt that it did its job, setting up the storyline for the cliffhanger at the end of this block of episodes. This is my favorite Jack flashback, and Matthew Fox had stunning acting performances, on and off the island.
